Jalisa (they/beloved/she) is a genderqueer Black Nawat birth worker, artist, educator, daughter, sister, cousin, and lover from the DC metro area. They are dedicated to centering Black and Indigenous birthing folks of all experiences in their search for birth support that is affirming to their gender, sexuality, and family structure. Their approach is centered in radical Black queer feminism and Reproductive Justice.
